Barolo (DOCG) – La Villa

It takes its name from an area of the Cru of Castelletto. The selected grapes in the oldest part of the vineyard enable to obtain a full-bodied wine.

The colour is garnet red with orange reflections. The bouquet is complex, it ranges from liquorice to the jam. This elegant wine is aged in French barriques and in large oak barrels.

Grapes: Nebbiolo

Harvest: 2016, 2017, 2018

Barolo (DOCG) 

It comes from the Cru of Castelletto from the youngest part of the vineyard.  It is aged in oak barrels to satisfy the most “classic” palates.  Fine and elegant with a garnet red color and a floral and balsamic bouquet.  In the mouth the tannins are gentle and balanced.  Very slight effervescence, just to emphasize freshness.

Barbera d’Alba (DOC) – La Chiesa

This Barbera Superiore matures in French oak barriques for 18 months.  It is a wine with a strong personality, with complex bouquet and taste as well.  Characterized by an intense ruby red colour, it reveals an intense perfume of wild berries and jam, with a round and pervasive taste. Very slight effervescence, just to emphasize freshness.

Barbera d’Alba (DOC)

This Barbera matures in 50hl steel tanks for 9 months, reaching a perfect balance of taste, perfume and acidity.

The colour is intense ruby red, and bouquet is enveloping and warm, with fresh and balanced taste.

Langhe (DOC) – Nebbiolo

A wine with a strong personality, aging in steel tanks and barriques. With a garnet red color and floral and fruity bouquet it is very fresh and elegant in mouth.

Dolcetto d’ Alba (DOC)

It is a young and fresh wine, immediately ready to drink. It matures in 50hl steel tanks for 9 months. A pleasant and velvety Dolcetto with ruby red colour and with fresh and fruity bouquet.  Very slight effervescence, just to emphasize freshness.

Alvarinho & Avesso – Vinho Verde DOC

Intense color, almost golden.

On the nose shows pear, melon, and citrus, demonstrating later pineapple, passion fruit (lightly) and some notes of hazelnut.

Serious in the mouth, with a soft texture, freshness and some salinity.

Long finish.

Grapes: 55% Alvarinho & 45% Avesso

Harvest: 2022

Reserva Branco – Vinho Verde DOC

Dry Vinho Verde, aged 18 months in French oak and bottled without addition of CO2.

Selective harvest done by hand in the beginning of September of 2017 on 25KG baskets.

The fermentation was done in a stainless steel tank of 3000L.  After fermentation we aged the wine for 18 months in a new french oak barrel of 500L.

Before being released to the public, the wine aged another 9 months in the bottle.

Grapes: 50% Alvarinho & 50% Avesso

Harvest: 2018

Colheita Selecionada – Vinho Verde DOC

Citric color. Pronounced in the aroma, where it stands out lime and lemon, followed by notes of linden, prince herb and green apple.

Crispy in the mouth, faithful to the region’s profile in terms of lightness and freshness, but in a modern wine perspective with a good compromise between residual sugar and acidity.

Very slight effervescence, just to emphasize freshness.

Grapes: 40% Loureiro, 30% Arinto, 15% Trajadura, 15% Fernão Pires, Alvarinho, Avesso

Rapui – Langhe DOC – Bianco

Description: The name “Rapui” is inspired by its small, short and squat bunches.

For its qualities of finesse and elegance, balanced alcohol content and acidity it is used for the production of high quality wines.

From its vinification we obtain a wine with the characteristic delicate aroma of Pinot Bianco and the typical very fine aroma of Riesling Renan. The wine is full-bodied and greatly balanced.

Grapes: Incrocio Manzoni (clone studied by Prof. Luigi Manzoni by combining Pinot Bianco and Riesling Renano).

Rose Wines

Rosé – Vinho Verde DOC

Selective harvest done by hand in 20KG baskets at the mid of September.

After harvesting the fermentation was done in a stainlesssteel tank of 2000L.

Bottled in April of 2021.  No malolatic fermentation.

Grapes: 60% Espadeiro, 35% Padeiro, 5% Touriga Nacional
